Vigilantes had a full story told in a reasonable amount of time; it was pretty good. Both OCs and returning cast have character development arcs that fit in naturally, it's relevant, it's fun, it's interesting. Yeah, I'd have recommended the spin-off manga to anyone who enjoyed MHA, or especially those who felt the original fell off later on, but I didn't expect this to get animated.
heyyyyy not bad besides the super typical asshole gangsters
obviously Knucklefuckinduster is the solution to that but man does every villain have to be this very one-dimensional
is the heroaca universe really just where outta nowhere, literally every day, you got someone shouting "VILLAAAAAIN!!" in the middle of a peaceful street and havoc gets wreaked until whoever can deal with the situation arrives?
okay i'm complaining about how people go about their daily lives in such dangerous places but then i forget mexican cities like Juarez and Tijuana exist 💀
I love the end of episode 2 / beginning of episode 3 where
Spoiler for exactly that
Eraser Head shows up, fights with Knuckleduster, assumes he has a physical enhancement quirk, uses his quirk to turn off Knuckleduster's quirk, still gets almost clobbered because it turns out he's just a strong, crazy, quirkless guy with brass knuckles.
It's also fun to see characters we already know but as side/background characters. Anyone else notice one of the ladies Koichi collects trash from as Nice Guy is none other than a younger, slimmer Inko Midoriya?
I am sad that they nerfed Pop Step's ass. What's the point of her outfit if it's always hidden? If you were hoping to see her ass then this is 0/10 worst show of the season. Bring back Pop Step's ass! Otherwise the show is pretty good so far.
The thing is, BHA is kind of like an antipode of Naruto : boring and irrelevant world - fun characters. So to share a BHA universe is kind of...a bad idea ? There's not much of substance there, unless you can make characters on the level of Horikoshi or better.
3 eps in it's pretty kiddy, very formulaic and simplistic script, very much intended for a younger audience than BHA itself, and you say it's "the real MHA" ? Hah.

Uhhh, low budget Jotaro
It's Cyclops vs Wolverine. He's even called Summers.

They adapt one of the spin-off AFTER the main story ended?
Looks like it was successful enough.
Never expected it to touch it in the end.
