hmm, i wonder how this season will be... i thought the 1st season was average

Yeah, I'm also curious to see what this season of the show will offer.

Most probably will expand on the Great Evil part which formed the backdrop of the 1st season until the last couple of eps.

If the author is ambitious, perhaps this will "grow a beard", move to a Total War setting unleashed by The Forces of Darkness, and the heroes take a Walk Into Mordor.

At least, that's the kind of cliches I'd use in the series.

Maybe this sequel can be better than before just like his her previous work.

I will consider watching it if it turns into an ultra gore fest, filled with gar.

Dog Days 2 huh? I hope this doesn't turn out like StrikerS because this already felt finished.

S2, hmmm. Personally, I didn't expect it to qualify (money-wise) for a sequel. So I should say im pleasantly surprised.

I expect this season will be about struggles for Cinque and Milhi see each other and if they are fast enough maybe there will be another dangerous monster.

Seven Arcs has infinite amounts of money due to Nanoha.

I for one am pleased to hear this announcement as I enjoyed Dog Days greatly for the moe overload and action scenes.

And I thought the story has been finished!

Proof? Masaki Tsuzuki signed as male on all the other sources. And it was signed male here just a couple of weeks before.

Its probably gonna be some full romance all the way.It could be better than 1st season but I dont expect something too impresive.Or they could do some ecchi lame show again.

After Piggy, at least it'd be nice to have a male protagonist who isn't totally emo-whiny again... In fact, something of a (borderline) badass normal.

Dog Days sold quite well too, so this shouldn't be a surprise.
Though I wish it didn't and there would be nothing more of this, or anything from Seven Arcs.

I'm trudging through the first season now, because I wanted to know what the fuss was about, that lead it to having a second season. I wish I hadn't.

YAY, really cant believe there is S2 coming up, just watch it over again and search for manga but what i found is S2 title woooo

I actually liked the first Dog Days. It was a pretty fun show to watch and the combat animation was consistently solid. I'm very nervous about the sequel though. The first one had some romantic comedy aspects but they weren't really too heavy. It felt like it had a nice balance going on.

I'm afraid that for the sequel with the addition of the child hood friend and master/rival that they're going to crank the pervading harem themes up to 11.

I seriously hope it doesn't go that route.
