Latest update:
AniHash v011 is out.
All versions prior to v009 will be disabled, and will no longer work. Please update to the latest version.

AniHash is a simple program for adding and editing entries to your MyList. As of the version 9, it also allows you to rename your files using data from AniDB.

You can learn more about the program, see a more detailed view of what's changed, and find a help section/FAQ at my site (unless the host is acting up again...):

http://www.bjecas.org
(If you're wondering why you can't click it^, ask exp! )

For the link and release notes, please check bjecas (296475) on 01.06.2009 18:21.

nope, im i'm still a damn windows n00b
(maybe i'll switch to hackint0sh next?)

i have a problem to report though:

tying to hash a 4,37 gb sized file will make it crash, think it didn't crash on very large files before

(that's still on xP sp3 with .net 2.0)

to be more precise:
it will spit out a .NET error message dialogue giving me the option to cancel or to continue - continuing will only get me the next error though, so i could go on forever like that;
error reports something about 'value' being wrong

i will update this post once i find more precision;

Confirmed, found the bug. This got broken in either v006 or v007, and it's because of a change I made to gain some performance when hashing. It has been fixed, AniHash can now hash files up to 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 bytes (in v007 it will crash with filesizes above ~2Gb)

A new version will come out soon - in the mean time, please report any other bugs so they can be fixed.
Thanks for the !

The quick key for deleting the current selection is a bit weird. I can't push the Del button fast enough to only delete one entry, it always deletes the topmost as well, or so.

Other then that it's a nice program, which I'm going to use at least as long as I'm using my temporary setup.

P.S Cool that AniHash can handle 1023 bytes larger files then NTFS can (NTFS can handle 18,446,744,073,709,550,592 bytes)

New version (008) fixes the size-related crash, as well as the issue of "over-deleting" when pressing DEL. You can grab it at the usual place, www.bjecas.org.

That means this crash would never happen again under ntfs, hehe. But, actually I don't think AniHash can handle files over 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 bytes, because of the way .NET defines the FileStream.Lenght property (as type long). In any case, it should suffice for now

When I want to visit this website http://www.bjecas.org an error occurs, so I cannot visit the site.
What could that mean?
Is there any other way for me to achieve this proram? I am very interested in it!

Thanks a bunch

I have no idea, because I just accessed the site and it's working fine. What error? You still can't access it?

In any case, here's a link to directly version v008:

I tried doing a ip lookup on bjecas.org, but I didn't get anything usable. The problem might be that bjecas.org doesn't link to anything on the DNS servers.

The domain bjecas.org exists, but No IP address found for the domain 'bjecas.org' (no DNS answer).

Yup, definitely a problem with your nameserver. DNS lookups and WhoIs can't find bjecas.org .

I didn't quite get the problem. No nameservers were found, or they couldn't be ed? And you still can't connect, or has it been solved?

I assume the most likely chance is that the my host's NS were down, but that's what you get from free hosting...

Either way, if you were looking for the latest AniHash, you can get it from:

Seems to be working now.

Before "bjecas.org" wouldn't give an IP address. I'm not sure why.

(I just noticed I did the WhoIs wrong before, so ignore my earlier comment about that.)

Then I'd say it was the host acting up. Again.

I'll try to find a decent host latter on (anyone offering free hosting? )
