Set in a Steampunk version of 19th Century London, it features many aesthetic elements which appeal to Steampunk fans like me, so I enjoyed watching it just because of that. Regarding to everything else, it was mostly decent, but there are some elements that did not fit. The plot, which, featuring Queen Victoria, rogue intelligence agencies, and complex terrorist schemes, was very interesting, but not so appropiate to 19th Century Britain as it is for, say, 21th Century UK. A 19th Century version of the SAS was the only thing missing. But, I digress. Character-wise, most of them were parodies of 19th Century fictitious gentlemen, and generally worked well. The female lead, being voiced by Hayami Saori, was cute, and nice, but sometimes too meek. Animation and voice acting were very good, and I liked the ending, including its OVA-like last episode.
Overall, a nice, though rather strange, Steampunk shoujo series. Recommended for Steampunk and shoujo romance fans.
