Rewrite 2nd Season is a very well put together anime series - In fact, both Rewrite series are well thought out and links really well. If it doesn't make sense to you, You may need to watch both seasons a few times to put it all together and really understand the context and storyline. There are key points in the 1st season and as you watch the 2nd season, lightbulbs go off, and it makes seasons one make a lot of sense.
Personally - I give it a 10/5.
It follows a similar pattern to all Visual Key animations (Air, Kanon, Clannad and Little Busters) which I enjoy

Starts off where the prequel left off. However this sequel feels like a completely different anime, more serious. Plot is all over the place and hard to follow. Decent warm ending, only redeeming quality. Watch at your own discretion :D

Ok, so I'm a little confused about Rewrite.
Overall I enjoyed the show but some of the details are a little lost on me.
Moon and Terra starts off sensible, but seems to devolve a little from there.
While the overall story is interesting I had a hard time figuring out how it all fit together, it felt like it bounced around without explaining how exacly we got there or why and while the ending seems promising it feels as melancholy as the first.
Did anything really change or is humanity set to repeat the same sad cycle it has been following before?
Did Kotarou and Kagari really meet again?
