Anime: Bokutachi no Remake 2k2q58

It's good. Take a note about many cross-references to studios' other works, including goddess Haruhi.

The story is indeed a regular SoL, maybe a bit naive, but it does not make it any worse, rather - more relaxed an pleasant watch. MC is proper and respectable character, nothing OP, as he correctly states at one point, "acting as a 18 y.o. should, but mentally 28". I think it comes short of White Album in of drama and is much lighter.

The only thing that slightly bugged me over the course of the show, is, unfortunately, reuse of the previously casted characters. I mean, I constantly saw Kyoko, Taiga and a few others. By no means it had not ruined the show, but left an aftertaste.

TL;DR - great time filler, mood raiser and expectations of the next season.

Good premise (has some resemblings to Relife, but that's all).
If you want a good show that has a bit of entertainment industry know-how + slice of life and a little bit of mystery then go ahead.
If you finish the whole show, you can start reading the novel from volume 5 (the manga already ended where the anime ended). In total there are 10 volumes ongoing (Japan) and 5 fan-translated so the show at this stage is only at around 40% finished.

This anime takes that concept and FULLY realizes what a choice THAT impactful fully means.

Time travel has been done before, but the way this anime handles it and the choices that the main character makes, that lead to certain "events" is what makes this one refreshingly interesting.

It takes an unrealistic concept and it fleshes it out with REALISTIC implications.

I was gonna skip this one because at first glance it doesn't sound very tantalizing, however, in practice it DOES NOT fail to deliver.

At the very least, worthy of a watch.

A 28 year old looks back on his professional life with regret, only to find himself back in time one morning, at a turning point in his life.

For an anime which has the obvious structure of a dime-a-dozen multi-path game (made even more obvious when the characters themselves are making such a game in later episodes), and with a harem on top (though, for once, the MC has some appealing qualities to justify it), this turns out to be much better than expected. It comes down to the MC being a believable human being, with normal concerns in life, for which things don't come on a silver plate. A bit of introspection, an inner motivation for good, believable relationships with other people and hard work flesh out a likeable character.

It all sums up to be an enjoyable watch and might even make one reflect a bit on their own life and what they would change, given the opportunity.

I think it's been A LOOONG while since I watch an anime with similar vibe (Golden Times, Ano Natsu, etc). On the serious side, but very enjoyable. It has a very interesting story that kept me going with and clear depth.

From the key art itself I already know it'll be good (and saved it for later), so was interested why the rating is lower than I expected. Overall it's a little bit too much on the idealistic side. Has great characters and MC, all likeable. No overbearing drama, but just enough emotion to keep the balance.

Unfortunately, it stops right where it's going to start getting super exciting. Fortunately, S2 is already a talking point for near future. TL;DR: Watch when S2 is airing.

This follows the MC replaying his college days and meeting a lot of interesting people along the way. The characters were solid and the development/romance were ok. Although, there wasn't an explanation or purpose behind the time skipping. The end is open-ended, which there could be a sequel, but I don't think it's needed. This was an ok show of an MC reliving his life with some romance and school struggles sprinkled throughout.

More serious than your typical harem romcom, this means less harem and less romcom and very little fanservice. Overall it was pretty good, a bit too much angst maybe and the way the MC kept learning one lesson then doubting it and learning the wrong lesson only to go back to the first and then doubt it again... was kinda annoying, but not unrealistic, otherwise the MC was good, it was easy to see why all the girls liked him.
The ending was kinda suggesting more is to come and i welcome it.
I give it a 6.5, and i recommend it if you are in the mood for something more serious.
