Explore a more grounded take on this theme, closely similar to art schools. A nice watch with some exciting key moments, all with very low displeasure (typically arise on Shoujo genre).
Acting scenes or reactions are actually executed differently instead of fully relying on verbal commentary. Production-wise, body posture often can be very janky.
Similar topic about theatrical girls. The theme is already rare as is, so any similarities might help no matter how little. (Will add more description as Kageki Shoujo airs)
Out of the box:
- Focuses on 2 major girls, one renown-but-serious and one energetic.
- Both are majorly girls, guided by male teacher/supervisor (albeit only one in Revue).
- Kageki Shoujo has realistic tone while Revue Starlight has fantasy/mystery aspects to it.
- Revue Starlight has more similarities to general CGDCT SoL while Kageki Shoujo to a competitive series.
- Overall, both are still very lighthearted with occasional jokes.

Kageki Shoujo is heavily influenced by classic shoujo in general, but Glass Mask (remake or original) most immediately comes to mind due to the shared focus on young actress prodigies.
