I just love how they introduces "gap" in everything here. It's probably one of the freshest CGDCT I ever watched in recent years (not that there's many recently).
You got your MCs are casually killing everyone, and all characters just die so easily, only to realize they have cute back story later with all the other characters they killed (don't forget post-credit scenes).
The absurdity of everything is just so good. It's like they want you to watch this unseriously & seriously at the same time.
And ofc, Shaft being shaft, they find ways to improve the production quality on a series with simple art style.

On the way home from school one day, Konoha Koga rescues Satoko Kusagakure, a ninja who escaped her village.
