The kudan is a Japanese monster born from cows with a cow's body and a human head. It speaks human language, predicts significant incidents such as war or disaster, and dies in three days. One day, a man who doesn't communicate well with his son receives by mail a box with a strange helmet inside. Upon wearing the helmet, he is transformed into a kudan.
