So, the second season extended rerun is finally over. I just hope waiting another year for the Disappearance movie will be a bit more worthwhile than the 3year-wait for this ****...

No you don't. US isn't all it is cracked up to be. We have a lot of our own problems.

But anyway, it will be nice to see the behind the scenes of filming of Mikuru's Adventure. That part was awesome in the novels.

Same here. Here in Czech republic it's bad with anime,manga, and other things from japan. In here anime is almost unknown in public, officially released in czech are three or four pieces of manga(and some manhwa) and with anime it's similiar. So... some Suzumiya Haruhi novel... especially in english... who cares. And sending it from US is too expensive. Sometimes I want to live in US...

The first ones were officially translated, but I couldn't find them here in Brazil so I've read the fan translations. BTW I agree with askerixont, if they put disappearance there either they go for 30+ eps or there will be a terrible cliffhanger.

Yeah. Every episode of EE was better. KyoAni improved animation and in last two or three episodes of EE had more noticeable soundtrack. And scenes in last EE was the best.
It sure worth to watch.

And about novels... are they even officially translated and released in english? Or there are only fan translations?

Well... Now there are remaining eight episodes. From old series it's Mikuru 00, Live Alive, Day of Sagattarius and somday in the rain. If the Sighs will have five episodes, than 25+will be old episodes. Acording to 20th episode The sighs of Haruhi Suzumiya will have at least three or four episodes. And because one or two episodes aren't enough for Diappearence so I think there will be five episodes of The Sighs and after that will be remaining old-series episodes.

Crap... It's hard to get the novels here in Queensland, Australia. I only know one place to get them from. Borders. And they only have a couple of shelves for this... So, as mentioned, it's hard to get them, and I want them so bad... *sob*

The novels were brilliant. If you like Kyon in the animu, you will want to dry hump him in the novels. His wit and sarcasm were amazing, not to mention the smiling bastard that is Koizumi. His explanations are even longer and more intelligently done. Not to mention Nagato is even better.

I am a Nagato fan boy, if you don't like it, too bad.

Yep, light novels tend to be better since the anime usually holds back information.

Believe me, the novels are better.

Oh man... They better release it, one way or another... I want to see them all. The Anime of Haruhi Suzumiya is absolutely brilliant.

Actually, Disappearence wasn't animated yet, but most people tought that the new season would have it since it was only six episodes or so and was a amazing arc, but then this fucking endless fuck came and fucked everything.

What?!? They won't be airing a episode? But... Why? Is there any other episodes that they won't be airing?

Well, at least you didn't suffer through 8 incarations of the same damn thing. Although, the last episode was nice. I've always been a fan of Yuki, I've always wanted the other girls to just go away so Kyon can have Yuki. But in this last episode of EE, Haruhi was hot and Mikuru, for the first time in the novels, manga, and animu, I wanted to cuddle her instead of wishing she'd just go back to the future.

Well, I did drop it after 2 EEs, but is the end of EE that brilliant? I've read the novels already.

End of Endless Eight.... the last episode of EE was brilliant. I enjoyed every single second of it.
Mikuru was even twice times more moe than before and Haruhi was twice times more tsundere. Soundtrack and animation was also brilliant

I think I will watch all EE again soon.

And now is the first episode of The Sighs of Suzumiya Haruhi. well... story was OK but animation was creepy. Now is remaining only four new episodes... It's a such pity that the Disappearance won't be airing. Maybe sometimes later... in next season or something like that.

Probably because we all want to forget it
