It's good but looses a lot of steam in the latter half of the story.
Ending didn't turn out quite as expected but still good in it's own right. Not perfect, and for this reason little more realistic but little less acceptable personally. It's a story about magic trees, why the hell would you go for realistic ending?
I mean, at some point it already became a fully fledged time paradox, so why not go for a few more with the aim to save everyone and overwrite history and Aika's decision, since we already crossed that bridge and fked the timeline? Alas, their choice is disappointing.
